Adding A W2 Form

15 STEPS

1. The first step is to open tax return and scroll down on the All Forms list.

2. Click W2

3. Alternatively you can Type W2 in the Form Search and then click W2.

4. click ADD NEW

5. Type Employer EIN. If the employer exists in the EIN Database the information will populate below. If not, enter the Company Name and Address Information

6. Type the wages in to box 1 and Press Tab

7. Type federal income tax withheld in box 2.

8. If the w2 has information in box 12, Select the Code from the list.

9. Type the amount

10. If the taxpayer has State information in box 16, Select the state from the list.

11. Type employers state EIN and Press Tab

12. Type state wages and Press Tab

Step 12 image

13. Type state income tax

Step 13 image

14. Review the information entered and click Save

15. That’s it. You’re done.
